Have you ever wondered why the pasta at a restaurant tastes so much more delicious than the one you cook at home? It's all about the dough! Well, and of course knowing how to make it.
In this masterclass, our head chef Luca Cianti will introduce you to the art of pasta-making and share his secrets on how to make the perfect pasta dough from his ten years of experience.
Before moving to London to hone his expertise at Michelin starred Trinity, Luca learned the art of pasta-making in Rome from experienced pasta veterans at Pastificio San Lorenzo - a fine dining establishment part of a 100-year old Italian pasta and flour factory turned successful contemporary art & culture hub.
However, we will not only teach you how to make the perfect dough and form different shapes by hand but also how to prepare two classic types of sauces to go with your pasta, puttanesca & carbonara.
So that you don't need to worry about trying to find the right flour or produce, we will send you a complete kit with all necessary items ahead of the class. The kit will include:
- High-quality 00 Shipton Mill flour
- Portion of ready-made dough
The only thing you need to bring is a rolling pin and yourself.
Due to the current restrictions, the class will take place via Zoom in an intimate setting with no more than ten participants. We will be in touch via email with all details. Run-time of the class will be around 1h.
Book your class now to learn to love making homemade pasta, and never touch the boxed stuff again.
